Below are frequently asked questions about New Mexico Book Association. Click on "the square box" on the right of each question to reveal the answer.
It takes just a few clicks to have your events posted in both Libro and the monthly FLASHnews email of calendar events.
Members may click on the Add an Event menu item after they have logged in to the site. Fill out the form as completely as possible, and be sure to provide the location and a contact person.
In order to ensure that your events will be printed in Libro, please post them on the calendar by the 15th of each month.
Many of these are available only to members in printed form and online. To see the online publications, use the Main Menu.
Membership in NMBA runs annually from September 1 of each year, at which time you will be notified to renew.
You may mail your check in the amount of $65 to: NMBA, PO Box 1285, Santa Fe, NM 87504; or pay online by clicking here.
First year initiation dues are $50. You will be asked to renew by September 1 of each year thereafter, at the renewal rate of $65.

Complete the online application form and pay by PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can use this option to pay by major credit card.Everyone who is involved in or interested in writing for publication, the book arts, or the literary professions is invited to join NMBA. We also welcome out-of-state members.

We are passionate book people who have come together through our common interests in the book in all its forms.
NMBA serves the population of New Mexico and some out-state-members and affiliates.
New Mexico Book Association (NMBA) is the only statewide nonprofit serving all book professionals. Founded in 1994 as a 501(c)(6) organization, NMBA has been recognized as one of the country’s most active book associations.
